TOWCESTER, England – GT Sport Motul Team RJN is heading for a happy hunting ground for the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 this weekend with the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup scheduled for Silverstone.
Located only 43 miles from the team's base, Silverstone has been the scene of several impressive performances in previous years including overall pole by Alex Buncombe in 2015 and multiple Pro/Am class wins and podiums.
Nissan scored the Pro/Am win at Silverstone in both 2013 and 2014 as well as finishing second in 2015.

The team showed strong potential at the last race outing at Monza by qualifying in the top 10 with the 2018-spec Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3.
The newly evolved machine has shown impressive pace with podium results so far this year in Super GT GT300 and Blancpain GT Series Asia plus wins in Japan's Super Taikyu Series.
GT Sport Motul Team RJN's PRO class entry has added incentive for a strong result this weekend with two Brits – Alex Buncombe and Matt Parry – racing on home soil. They will be joined by inaugural GT Academy winner Lucas Ordóñez who became the first "gamer-to-racer" here at Silverstone 10 years ago.
'We are so lucky to have such a world-class facility in Silverstone and even more so to be able to call it our home circuit," said Parry. "I can not wait to get back out on the circuit in the new Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3. The Maggots – Becketts complex is something I'm looking forward to driving the most. The real mixture of high-speed lefts and rights is always a favorite."
The No. 22 Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 will contest the Silver Cup class with another GT Academy winner Ricardo Sanchez joined by Struan Moore and Jordan Witt. Sunday's Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup race will be live streamed on NISMO.tv.
