Nissan enthusiast from the Middle East visits Patrol Super Safari production in Japan

UAE – An Emirati social media influencer and well-known fan of the Nissan brand in the Middle East was among first to view production of the Nissan Patrol Super Safari in Japan. Having a strong presence on YouTube and Instagram, and with the majority of his followers consisting of Arab car-enthusiasts, Ali Al Hamoudi was the right person to be invited to Japan by Nissan Middle East to see first hand the production process of the iconic Nissan vehicle.

Like many Nissan Patrol enthusiasts, Ali's passion for Nissan – especially the Patrol Super Safari – started from his childhood. The vehicle's long-standing heritage in the region had lasted with every passing generation, achieving iconic status among gulf nationals and expats alike.

Ali visited the Nissan Shatai Shonan Plant in Hiratsuka, Japan where the Nissan Patrol Super Safari is manufactured. Welcomed by the plant with the National Flag of UAE at the entrance, his itinerary included briefings on the plant, a tour to various stages of car manufacturing, lunch with representatives and a group photo session.

The excitement for Ali continued with a trip to Nissan Shatai Testing Center where he had the opportunity to test drive different Nissan vehicles built for the GCC region including the Patrol Super Safari. He also had the chance to meet the designer of the vehicle.

His visit was documented on video and was released on YouTube, attracting more than 358K views in less than a week.

The trip comes after a month of the rebirth of the legendary Patrol Super Safari in the Middle East, one of the most coveted off-road vehicles ever sold in the region.

The re-imagined Patrol Super Safari retains all elements that had elevated the vehicle to an iconic status – rugged design and off-road capability – with modern engineering and special upgrades and enhancements that add usability and visual appeal. Designed to be a remarkable off-road vehicle while maintaining all the comforts of a road-going full-size SUV, the new Patrol Super Safari incorporates some of the latest innovation and features that Nissan customers have come to expect.

Nissan Middle East aims to excite fans through social media and engage with potential customers as well as enthusiasts who wish to know more about Nissan.
