SAO PAULO – As part of Nissan's dedication and growth in global sports, Nissan sponsored the "Red Bull Rally dos Ventos 2017," a kitesurfing competition held in the state of Maranhão in Brazil. The event was held on the pristine beaches of Lençóis Maranhenses National Park on September 16.
The village of Atins was the starting point for the 40 high-performance kiteboarders. After crossing 65 km of crystal clear waters and white sand dunes – 20 km inside the National Park and another 45 km on the state's coast – the competition ended in the city of SantoAmaro do Maranhão.
