SEOUL (Oct. 17, 2006)--Infiniti, the global luxury brand of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., today announced the release of the all-new Infiniti G35 sedan at the Seoul Trade Exhibition and Convention Center (SETEC) located in Hagnyeoul, Seoul. Korea is the first market to receive the redesigned luxury sedan.
The all-new Infiniti G35 sedan for the Korean market will be powered by the newly upgraded fourth generation V6 VQ35HR engine generating 315-horsepower and 36.5 kg/m torque. The V6 engine is the only engine in the world to have made Wards 10-best engines list for the past 12 consecutive years. The vehicle is available with a five-speed automatic transmission with a manual shift mode and Downshift Rev Matching, giving a smooth yet dynamic driving experience with optimal shift timing. It also features a driver-oriented, rear-wheel drive platform.
The Infiniti G35 sedan is available in a premium and sports version. The premium model features an aluminum trim inspired by hanji, a traditional Oriental paper and is available at 47.5 million won (including VAT). The sports model offers a more dynamic driving experience and is available at 49.8 million won (including VAT).
