Nissan to Showcase 10 Exciting Models at Tokyo Auto Salon 2012

Tokyo Auto Salon 2012 with NAPAC

YOKOHAMA, Japan (Dec. 21, 2011) - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., together with Autech Japan and Nissan Motorsports International Co., Ltd. (Nismo), will present 10 exciting models at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon 2012 with NAPAC (Japan Car Parts and Aftermarket Promotion Association). This year the Tokyo Auto Salon will be held January 13-15, 2012, at the Makuhari Messe exhibition hall in Chiba prefecture.

The exhibition booth, put together by Nissan, Autech Japan and Nismo, is designed to deliver the look and feel of a race circuit, and includes a spectators' stand. In line with this racing-themed booth design, Nismo will showcase the Juke Nismo Concept and the LEAF Nismo Concept which were presented at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. Nissan will showcase the Nissan GT-R "For TRACK PACK", a custom option of its "Pure Edition" model. Autech will have the NV350 Caravan that was displayed at the Tokyo Motor Show, together with the Rider series, a lineup of its customized cars.

GT-R Pure edition

· Nissan GT-R Pure edition "For TRACK PACK"
The Nissan GT-R with the "For TRACK PACK" option, crafted for driving enthusiasts who want to enjoy the pure driving sensation normally felt only at a racing circuit.

SKYLINE 55th limited

· Skyline 55th Limited Edition
The Skyline 55th Limited Edition is a special version launched to commemorate its 55th anniversary. In addition to aeroparts with high-intensity LEDs and S-tune items, this model is equipped with wide, low-center-of-gravity optional parts that deliver a more sporty performance feeling.

Nissan LEAF NISMO RC

· Nissan LEAF NISMO RC
Nissan LEAF NISMO RC is a racing model based on the Nissan LEAF, the world's first mass-market 100% electric vehicle.
As the first mass-market zero-emission racing car, the Nissan LEAF NISMO RC has made appearances all over the world to demonstrate the pleasure of driving a zero-emission vehicle.

MOTUL AUTECH GT-R

· MOTUL AUTECH GT-R (participated in the 2011 SUPER GT GT500)
The Nissan GT-R won five out of eight races in the 2011 SUPER GT GT500 with the S Road MOLA GT-R team, capturing both the team and drivers' titles.
The MOTUL AUTECH GT-R on display is one of the GT-Rs that took part in this SUPER GT 500 race.

AUTECH Area

NV350 Caravan Rider

A customized Rider version of Nissan's NV350 Caravan. In addition to its impressive and solid presence, the vehicle has elements expressing a bolder, tougher stance.

Elgrand Rider High-performance Spec Black Line

Based on the Elgrand Rider that has already been well-received for its impressive and tough exterior and interior and high-quality, this model has excellent high-speed driving performance with a tuned-up engine, suspension and body.

Serena Rider Performance Spec Black Line

Based on the Serena Rider which has become popular due to its distinctive front mask, strong presence and black sporty interior, this model offers reliable driving even on winding roads thanks to its special fine-tuned body and suspension.

Official Nissan merchandise, including Nissan LEAF, Nissan GT-R and NISMO motorsports products, will be available at the Nissan/NISMO booth.

Getting in touch through social media

Using social media channels including Twitter (http://twitter.com/NISSAN_MS) and the USTREAM live streaming provider, talk shows and other event highlights will be broadcast live.
