MANAGEMENT CHANGES AT NISSAN GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS (09/01/2009)

YOKOHAMA (Sept. 1, 2009) -- Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced the appointment of Gina Pasco as general manager for Global Corporate and Internal Communications, effective immediately. Pasco will be based in Yokohama, and be responsible for all of Nissan's global corporate and internal communication activities.

She succeeds Tadashi Okamura, who will take on new responsibilities with the Human Resources department. Pasco was previously manager of communications for Nissan Europe, based in Rolle, Switzerland.

Pasco joined Nissan in 1988 as an overseas marketing staff for the Asia and Oceania marketing and sales department. After holding various positions in different functions, both at headquarters and in the regions, Pasco returned to NML in 2004 as the senior manager for Global Overseas Market communications before her move to Nissan Europe. Pasco earned a B.A. in International Relations from Tsukuba University, and is fluent in Japanese.

"On behalf of the global communications team, please join me in thanking Okamura-san for his contributions; and, in congratulating and supporting Pasco as she transitions into her new role," said Alan Buddendeck, corporate vice president, Global Communications.
