The New Cube Continues Good Sales

- Orders surpassed 50,000units in three month -

Tokyo --- Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. announced that orders for the new Cube have surpassed 50,000 units in three months since its sales launch on February 2. Details of the orders for the new Cube are as follows:

1. Total orders (as of May 5) 50,081 units
Monthly sales target 8,000 units
Release date February 2, 1998

2. Order details by Grade / Transmission

* With this marvelous starting order, Murayama Plant in which Cube is being assembled is planning to have 4 days holiday- working in May and additional 2 days in June.

* Among the total orders, about 5% of customers utilize new personal leasing system “Cube leasing program”.
