Nissan GT-R Makes Regional Debut at Dubai Motor Show

First major reveal of Nissan supercar outside of Japan

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (November 13, 2007) - Nissan Middle East FZE (NMEF) will offer automotive enthusiasts a vehicle line-up that hits the high notes in performance, luxury and elegant design when the 9th Middle East International Motor Show opens at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre this week.

Nissan will showcase a range of all-new products including the GT-R and the Altima Coupe, while the Infiniti spotlight will be on the all-new EX luxury crossover and G37 Coupe.

Nissan
Nissan GT-R
- Less than one month after its global debut at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show, the Nissan GT-R features an all-new 3.8-litre twin turbo V6 "VR38" engine. The GT-R is based on the concept of a new multi-dimensional performance machine that delivers "an ultimate supercar for anyone, anywhere, at anytime". The Nissan GT-R features a newly developed Premium Midship package, including the world's first independent transaxle 4WD developed independently by Nissan.

Nissan Altima Coupe - The unique exterior design of the Altima Coupe makes it stand out in a crowd of sedan-based two-door models. Much design consideration was given to the Altima, starting from its magnetic, perfectly proportioned styling to a shorter wheelbase, shorter overall length and lower height than the Altima Sedan - all the wrapping for a Coupe that delivers a truly distinctive driving experience.

Nissan also will exhibit the all-new Altima sedan, Qashqai, Xterra and Navara at the Middle East International Motor Show and will feature the largest SUV lineup in the region.

Infiniti
Infiniti EX
- The all-new Infiniti EX offers an exceptional combination of seductive design, an indulgent interior and advanced technology systems. EX's sculpted elegance expresses a timeless appeal - sleek lines that denote speed, grace and finesse. The layout of EX combines the look and feel of a luxury coupe with the interior flexibility of an SUV. EX is equipped with Infiniti's Around View Monitor (AVM), an advanced technology that utilizes four small cameras to give the driver a "top-down view" of the outside of the vehicle and help reduce blind spots when parking.

Infiniti G37 Coupe - The new Infiniti G37 Coupe is the first model to be fitted with the newly developed 3.7 liter VQ37VHR engine with VVEL*1. Also, the appealing design of the new G37 Coupe features flowing front fender curves, a wave-style hood, smooth front fascia with Infiniti's signature double-arch grille and L-shaped headlights.

Nissan sold 89,000 units in the Middle East in the first half of fiscal year 2007, up 21.3% over 2006. The Middle East region continues to be an important driver of Nissan's global sales.
