Nissan and Infiniti announce sales results for November, 2016 from regions and countries around the world

INFINITI achieved its best November sales month and is on track for 2016 to be the best sales year in its history. From January to November, INFINITI set a new global record for sales in the first 11 months, with almost 204,000 vehicles sold, an increase of 6 percent compared to the same time last year. INFINITI sold 215,000 vehicles in 2015.

U.S.
Nissan Group announced total U.S. sales for November 2016 of 115,136 units, an increase of 7.5 percent from the prior year and a November record. Nissan Division sold 103,024 vehicles, up 8 percent and also a November record. INFINITI reported sales of 12,112 vehicles in the U.S. during November, an increase of 3.6 percent compared to the prior year.

Canada
Nissan Group announced monthly Canadian sales of 10,671 units, an increase of 12.9 percent over last year and its best November ever. Calendar year-to-date sales are up 4.2 percent. INFINITI reported November sales of 1,130 vehicles in Canada, an increase of 15.8 percent versus the previous year, marking the best month ever for the INFINITI Division in Canada.

Europe
Nissan announced European sales for November of 57,963 units (Nissan and Datsun), representing a market share of 3.7 percent. Calendar sales to date total 672,053 units. Market share calendar year to date is 3.8 percent.

Mexico
Nissan announced total Mexico sales for November 2016 of 38,161 units, the best sales result for the month of November on record, reaching a share of 24.7 percent and achieving 90 consecutive months of sales leadership in the country.
